Tree Gettin' in Salida. Our first Pinon Pine-my new favorite type of tree.
I know I know! I am bad blogger! But here I am ready to share lots of pics and stories. Unfortunately the pics start from most recent and go backwards.

Celia and Colby (she is 6 weeks older).
Okay, well after seeing those pics you can tell that having another kiddo hasn't slowed us down. We are all loving life as usual. Colby is now 3 month old and is a very good baby. He even started sleeping through the nigh last week! I think he knows I have to go back to work soon and he wants to make it easy on me. We have all been blessed with good health lately, thank goodness!
So, to fill you in on the birth, his due date was October 6th but since it was going to be a C-section they schedule it a week early. So, his date was going to be the 30th of September. Well, he had other plans. I went into labor at 4:30 in the morning on September 24th. I wasn't real sure if I was having contractions, so I waited till 6:30 to call the Dr. We were SOOOOO lucky that Blair was here (even though it is likely her fault that I went into labor, because she had me laughing so hard the night before). I came upstairs and asked her to hang with Ella while we went to the hospital. Blair is a Pediatrician, so she was in okay hands.
Bobby went and took a shower and the contractions started to really hurt. We got going right away. By the time we were in CB South, they were 3 minutes apart. I was starting to panic. It can be bad news if you have had a C section in the past and go into labor, so it was a bit scary. After we got to the hospital everything went smooth. Colby William was born at 8:40 that morning weighing in at 5 lbs 12 oz. The funny thing about that is that I had two doctors tell me that I had a big baby in there. One even said she thought he was approaching 8 lbs. So it was a shock that he was just a little peanut.
It was an okay recovery and we are all doing great. He is actually a very good little baby. He is very happy and is a good eater and sleeper. And most importantly he is very healthy!
His big sister is completely head over heals for him. We call her the smooch monster because she is constantly sneaking in kisses. She always wants to hold him and loves to join him in his baby play area. He is very tolerant of her 'smothering' him. We wouldn't want it any other way.
Speaking of the big sis, I would love to stop time right now with her. She is amazing! She is polite, funny, kind and just overall the best kid ever. She has her moments and she is learning to argue, but other than that we are having a blast. Her skiing is coming right along. She is making turns and stopping on her own on easy greens. Dad takes her whenever he can.
With Christmas two days away I think it is pretty funny that she wants a "tool set" for Christmas. Santa sure did give her a crazy look when she asked for that!
I will be back at work starting the 2nd of January. It is bitter sweet. I am going to die inside a little when I drop him off at daycare but I am very fortunate to have an amazing daycare and they are both only going two days a week. Bobby will be home with them three days a week. He will work his four tens Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. I will have them on the weekends. It will be hard to not have a day together, but it is short lived and will work for now. I am however, really looking forward to getting back into the classroom. I have a large class but they are a great group, so it will be fun and challenging.
Well, I know I am missing a lot here, but I need to get few winks. I will try and post more later.
